Through its monologues and staging, this lyrical show invites its audience, including the uninitiated, to a journey into the realm of classical music by way of Kurt Weill’s unique universe and the 1920s cabaret scene. The audience is invariably transported into a world torn between hope and cynicism, sensuality and contempt…between light and shadow.
